Veld Cooper and Associates (Pty) Ltd (VCA) has been a major national human resources development (HRD) provider since 1996. In 2004 it was decided to form a second company to specialise in various legal and technical HRD consulting fields, leaving VCA to specialise in the more developmental components of HRD. Former management consulting clients of VCA therefore became clients of Siya Phambile Consultants (Pty) Ltd (SPC).

Both companies retain close working relationships with one another through Veld Cooper, the Group Chairman, who is also the CEO of SPC.
